Bring Canned Goods to Manassas Bistro and Enter Raffle to Win Thanksgiving Day Dinner for Eight

City Square Cafe of Old Town Manassas is hosting a Thanksgiving Day raffle to benefit SERVE, a Prince William County non-profit that distributes food and provides assistance to homeless local families. From Oct. 15 through Nov. 15, patrons can bring in non-perishable or canned goods, and enter a raffle to win a Thanksgiving Day dinner to-go for eight, prepared by City Square Café. Live entertainment is offered on scheduled evenings, highlighting local jazz singers on their outdoor patio. City Square Café provides tapas and homemade American bistro favorites with an international flair, seven days a week.

Hours of operation include: Mon. through Thurs., 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (lunch and dinner,) Fri., 11 a.m.to 10 p.m. (lunch and dinner), Sat., 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. (breakfast, lunch, dinner), and Sun., 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (breakfast and lunch).

SERVE, a program of Northern Virginia Family Service, a private nonprofit serving Northern Virginia, is dedicated to helping individuals and families find new paths to self-reliance and brighter futures.  SERVE distributes $2 million worth of food annually to an average of 900 families each month, as well as providing shelter for homeless families, and emergency assistance to prevent families from becoming homeless. Established in 1996, City Square Café in Old Town Manassas, Va. was founded and is owned by Robert and Susana Barolin, immigrants from Uruguay whose cuisine is based on their Italian roots.
