Looking for a Halloween event that’s exciting, fun for the whole family, festive and (sh-h-) a bit educational? The make your plans now for Reston’s Halloween House and Trick or Treat Trail. You’ll be treated, really, to friendly characters along the trail who will give out treats. You are likely to meet a live owl and the animals who live inside Nature House – the year-round environmental educational facility at Walker Nature Education Center. “This is a creative Halloween event,” said Katie Shaw, manager of Walker Nature Education Center. “We have an emphasis on the environment here, so you will meet the animals and characters that share the woods with us.”
There will also be booths set up for fun activities and you can purchase snacks onsite. Wear your fun, friendly costume.
