This Saturday: The Loudoun Symphony Offers a Musical Start to the Holiday Season

The Loudoun Symphony invites you to join them this coming Saturday for a musical start to the holiday season.

The Loudoun Symphony is launching its 20th Anniversary Season in the beautiful concert hall at the Virgina Academy/Community Church located on Route 7 in Ashburn. You will experience the Loudoun Symphony like never before as the orchestra performs Beethoven's revolutionary 5th Symphony, as well as the stirring Bruch Violin Concerto No. 1, with guest soloist Amy Beth Horman. The concert will open with the virtuosic overture to Benvenuto Cellini by Berlioz.

The concert is this Saturday, November 6, at 7:30 p.m. Maestro Mark Allen McCoy will be presenting a pre-concert lecture at 6:30 and the String Workshop performs at 7:00 p.m., so be sure to arrive early! There still are some advance tickets available, so take a moment to reserve yours today. For your convenience, tickets may be purchased online at www.loudounsym.org/LSOOrderOnline.html.

The late English novelist Edward Forster said, "Beethoven's 5th Symphony is the most sublime noise that has ever penetrated into the ear of man." But don't take his word for it. Decide for yourself by joining your classical music-loving peers for what promises to be an invigorating Saturday evening!
